Bud Billiken Celebrates 90

What an incredible honor it was to have been part of The Bud scholarship and parade this year. To have shared the stage with Mayor Lightfoot, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Congressman Bobby Rush, George Daniels, and so many other distinguished leaders, neighbors and friends was truly inspired. Billed as the oldest and largest African American parade in the country, it's also a back-to-school festival, a celebration of black culture, and the place-to-be for families from all over the region.
